Restorative

Tooth restorations (fillings) can replace decayed or missing tooth structure. Tooth structure can be missing due to decay, deterioration of a previously placed restoration, or fracture of a tooth.

Tooth colored fillings have largely replaced silver amalgam that was widely used in the past. This newer tooth-colored filling system results in a more natural look, can be repaired easily, and forms a strong bond with existing tooth structure- unlike the older silver fillings.
